Facebook launches a new tool that allows users to share images on Google Photos
Notably, Facebook's new tool comes at a time when Facebook, just like Google, is being investigated by regulators on the both sides of Atlantic over its data collection practices. Earlier this week the European Commission opened a preliminary investigation into Google's data collection practices. Soon after, the agency announced that in addition to looking int Google's core businesses, it was also conducting an investigation into how Facebook collects and monetises its data. The agency has sent a questionnaire to both the companies as a part of its investigation.
