Roomali Roti:-
Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup refined flour, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 2 tbsp oil, water as required, whole wheat flour (for rolling)
How to make
First sieve wheat flour, maida, salt and baking powder together in a bowl. Make smooth and elastic dough by adding oil and water in the flour. Set it aside covered with moist muslin cloth for half an hour. Make small balls of the dough. Roll them into thin chapati (tissue) of about 12 inch diameter circle using little dry flour. Now, heat an inverted griddle/tawa. Now place the rumali roti carefully over it and cook till done. Fold it like a handkerchief. Serve Roomali roti hot.
