Garlic Naan:-
Ingredients
1 cup plain flour/maida, 2 tbsp garlic (roughly chopped), 2 tsp green chillies(roughly chopped), 1 tsp dry yeast, 1/2 tsp sugar, 2 tbsp curd, 1 tbsp oil, salt to taste, whole wheat flour (for rolling), melted butter (for brushing)
How to make
First combine yeast, sugar and 2 tbsp of lukewarm water in a bowl. Cover the bowl with a lid and keep aside for 5 minutes. Now combine plain flour, yeast-sugar mixture, curd, oil and salt in a deep bowl. Knead into soft dough using little water. Cover the dough with damp muslin cloth for 30 minutes. Now, divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Now roll the dough ball into small circular naan and put the chopped garlic and chillies in it. Fold the naan to make ball. Again roll the ball into oblong naan. Now heat tava and cook it on one side till it puffs slightly and then turn over. Cook it on the other side till it puffs a little and then roast it on an open flame till it turns golden brown from both the sides. Apply little melted butter on garlic naan. Serve hot garlic naan.
