Fried Idli:-
Ingredients
4 idli, cubed, 1/4 cup minced onions, 1
small tomato (chopped), 2 tsp ghee, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, 1/4 tsp turmeric
powder, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 2 tsp lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves (for
garnish), 1/2 tsp chat masala (optional)
How to make
In a pan, heat the butter or ghee and
add mustard seeds. When seeds pop the add onions, turmeric and ginger. Saute
all vegetables until the onions turn pink and fragrant. Now add chopped
tomatoes and saute for few minutes. Meanwhile, chop the idlis into small cubes.
Now add chat masala and salt. Mix well and cook for 30 seconds. Then add cubed
idli and toss well to coat. Finally add lemon juice and garnish with coriander
leaves. Serve fried idli hot.
