Aloo tikki:-
Ingredients
2 large potatoes (grated), fresh
coriander leaves (chopped), 1 tsp jeera /cumin, 2 green chillies (chopped),
pinch of asafoetida / hing, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, bread crumbs as
required, salt to taste, oil for shallow frying
How to make
Take grated potatoes in a bowl. Add fresh coriander
leaves, jeera, green chillies, asafoetida / hing, red chilli powder, bread
crumbs and salt. Now mix all ingredients well. Now take a portion of mixture
and make ball with palm and flatten them. In a wide pan, heat oil and shallow
fry all tikkis until golden brown on both sides. Serve the tikkis hot with
ketchup or chutney.
