Dev Patel becomes 3rd Indian actor to be nominated at the Oscars
The 89th annual Academy Award nominations honored the best films of 2016. The nominations were announced Tuesday, January 24. The awards themselves will be held Sunday, February 26. Dev Patel of Indian origin has been nominated for his performance in Lion and we cannot be more proud. He has finally been able to break the jinx of 13 years and placed himself in third position among actor of Indian descent to be ever nominated for an Oscar.
