Dessert Recipe: Mango Shrikhand

Ingredients
3/4 cup fresh mango pulp, 2 cups hung
curd/chakka dahi, few saffron/kesar strands, 1 tbsp warm milk, 1/2 cup
sugar (powdered), 1/2 tsp cardamom/elaichi powder, a pinch of
nutmeg/jaiphal powder, 1 tbsp almond/badam, 1 tbsp pistachio
How to make
Hung
curd in muslin cloth overnight. Next morning take hung curd in deep
bowl and beat it. Now combine saffron strands and milk in a small bowl.
Mix well and keep it aside. Now add mango pulp and powdered sugar in
curd and mix well. Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, saffron-milk
mixture and mix well. Keep it in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Delicious Mango Shrikhand is ready to eat. Serve chilled garnished with
almonds and pistachios.
