Kaju Halwa:-
Ingredients
250 gms kaju or cashew (chopped), 1 litre milk, 3-4 tbsp sugar, 4 tbsp ghee, few strands of kesar or saffron
How to make
In ghee, fry the chopped cashews for 4-5 minutes. Turn off flame and let them cool. Now boil milk on low flame. When bubbles appear in milk, add sugar and stir it for 2-3 minutes. Meanwhile fried kaju will get cool and grind them in blender. Now add a pinch of saffron to milk and stir it a few times to make the colour spread uniformly. Add cashew mixture to milk and stir it continuously for the next 2 minutes. Let the milk boil on low flame and reduce in volume to make the halwa thick. Serve this delicious Kaju halwa topped with lots of chopped dry fruits.
