A Bollywood-style love triangle 'Cocktail' saw Deepika's Veronica character and Diana Penty's Meera both vie for the affection of Gautam, played by Saif Ali Khan. The story gets its modern twist by establishing a no-strings attached relationship between Deepika and Gautam. But what starts off as casual becomes intense and Veronica falls in love with Gautam. He, however, decided at the end that Meera is the woman for him. Beautiful people in beautiful places ensured the film was a hit.
