Plastic Spoon Lamp Shade
This creative idea is a lot of fun! Get a bunch of white plastic spoons and a clean, dry 2 liter bottle. Cut the bottom off. Starting at the bottom begin to glue the spoons to the bottle in a circle. Make sure the spoon itself is facing inward; in other words face the outward curve of the spoon on the outside. Also, do not let the spoon itself overlap either of those next to it. Once you have completed a circle move up and begin another, lining up the next row's spoon tips to the bottom of the spoons on the prior row. When you get to the top you will simply begin to glue only the spoon cups on, one overlapping another until a complete circle is formed (make sure to neatly break the handles off prior to gluing. Your end result will resemble a giant lighted pineapple.
