Today the big problem of every family is to make a cordial relation with your childrens. They are doing the things which you have never heard of, but do you ever think that this is there lifestyle and they are making themselves a perfect to be fit in these developed world. If you think your kids clothes are too weird and their music is too loud, and, although they are speaking English, you can't understand a word you might be on the wrong side of a generation gap. Hence there are some tips that will help you to be a good friend of your children:

Communication
Communicating regularly with your children can go a long way toward bridging the generation gap. Show your children that their interests are your interests, regardless of the number of years between you. As kids grow into teens and tweens, communication might become increasingly difficult. Make a point of letting your kids know that you are always available to talk, and no subject is off limits. And when your kids do come to you, even if you don't agree with what they are saying, try to listen more than you speak.
