Maruti Suzuki has launched the BS6-compliant CNG variants of the Celerio at a starting price of Rs 5.61 lakh. Just like before, CNG is offered in the two mid-spec variants - VXI and VXI (O) - as well as in the Tour model for fleet purposes. Available in VXI and VXI(O) variants, BS6 Maruti Suzuki Celerio S-CNG is claimed to deliver a mileage of 30.47km/kg.Powering the BS6 Maruti Suzuki Celerio S-CNG is a 1.0-litre, K10B engine. The motor delivers 68hp and 90Nm of peak torque in the petrol mode and 59hp and 78Nm of maximum torque in the CNG mode. The BS6 Celerio S-CNG is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. All the Maruti Suzuki S-CNG vehicles are specially tuned and equipped with dual interdependent ECUs (electronic control units) and intelligent injection system.
