We use the phrase self-esteem to talk about the beliefs you have about yourself  what you think about the type of person you are, your abilities, the positive and negative things about you and what you expect for your future. Low self-esteem can negatively affect virtually every facet of your life, including your relationships, your job and your health. Here are some tips for how to improve your self esteem.

Dress nicely
No one is more conscious of your physical appearance than you are. When you look good, it changes the way you carry yourself and interact with other people. This doesn't mean you need to spend a lot on clothes. One great rule to follow is "spend twice as much, buy half as much". Rather than buying a bunch of cheap clothes, buy half as many select, high quality items.
