Over washing
Over washing is another very common mistake
people make when it comes to hair care. Too much shampooing can suck the
natural moisture out of your hair and dry it out, causing breakage.Be
sure to wash your hair three times a week. If you are sweating or using
lots of products, wash your hair every two days.
Not hydrating yourself enough
If you do not consume at
least 2 litres of water per day, your hair and skin tend to become more
dry, along with developing other health complications.
Poor diet or stress
What you eat has a direct impact on
your skin and hair health. Hair needs various vitamins, minerals and
proteins to remain healthy. When you are under stress, hair can go into
the telogen (fall-out) phase. In fact, hair loss can occur up to three
months after a stressful event. However, after the initial hair loss, it
usually grows back in six to nine months.
