Barun met wife, Pashmeen Manchanda while he was still in school. The duo met in ninth standard only realized their love for each other when they drifted apart as Pashmeen went to Australia after her graduation. Pashmeen was his first girlfriend ever. He married Pashmeen on 12th December 2010, in a Gurdwara.
