Ayesha Takia and husband offer their Mumbai hotel as quarantine facility

Ayesha Takia and her restaurateur husband Farhan Azmi have offered their hotel in South Mumbai to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to be used as a quarantine facility. Gulf Hotel in Mumbai, which belongs to Ayesh's father-in-law Abu Asim Azmi, has been turned into a quarantine centre for police personnel serving in South Mumbai.
Abu Asim Azmi took to Twitter to announce the news. He wrote, "Alhamdulillah, I am pleased to inform that on the request of Sr. PI - Colaba Police Station have handed over my Gulf Hotel in Colaba to @mybmc & @MumbaiPolice as a quarantine center for Police Personnels serving in South Mumbai. InShaAllah #CoronaWillEndSoon #Covid_19 (sic)."
Retweeting his father's tweet, Farhan Azmi wrote, "Show some love & appreciation @MumbaiPolice. While several 5 stars have refused to help the #frontline warriors of @CMOMaharashtra @AnilDeshmukhNCP its the small & medium establishments in #Mumbai who have come forward to help #India fight #Covid_19 @abuasimazmi @PMOIndia (sic)."
