They fell for each other while shooting for a movie together. But Shilpa Shetty's dreams were shattered when she came to know that Akshay Kumar was two-timing her. Shilpa had confirmed the same in an interview to a web portal in which she had bashed Akshay.

"It has been a rough period personally. But I'm glad that the ordeal is over. After every dark cloud, there's always a silver lining. All this while though things were going well professionally, my personal life was pulling me down. It feels good that it's finally behind me."

When asked about her break-up with Akshay Kumar, Shilpa had said, "Don't I have reasons to be upset? When you love someone and all along don't realize that you are being taken for a ride, it can be very annoying."
