Bhagyashree's husband Himalaya Dassani arrested in gambling racket
Actress Bhagyashree's husband Himalaya Dasani has been arrested by cops of Amboli police station in Mumbai, for his alleged involvement with a gambling racket. According to a report, Dasani was the kingpin of this racket. A few days back, the police had raided a poker racket in Andheri, and in their bust, discovered Himalaya Dasani's involvement.
While there hasn't been any official statement released, either by the police officials or by the Dassani family, this news is grabbing headlines everywhere. If true, this will be quite a set back for the family. Their son, Abhimanyu Dasani is just starting out in his acting career and had made his Bollywood debut last year with actress Radhika Madan in the film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, directed by Vasan Bala. While the film didn't do huge business at the box office, majority of the critics appreciated the star kid's performance.
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree had quit working in films after starring with Salman Khan in the blockbuster '90s romantic-drama Maine Pyar Kiya. A few years back, the actress had expressed her reasons to quit her acting career. In an interview with NDTV, Bhagyashree had said she had no regrets about giving up her acting career, especially because she was so involved with her family.
