Udaipur | A new wave of inspiration swept through the historic City Palace of Udaipur as Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the former royal family of Mewar, captured the attention of the world with his unique and visionary initiative. In a special event held on Wednesday, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar entered the Guinness Book of World Records by creating the largest solar lamp formation in the shape of the Sun. This was not just a record-breaking feat but a testament to his unwavering commitment to social service and sustainable development.

As the City Palace courtyard shimmered with the glow of thousands of solar lamps, the magnificent Sun-shaped formation symbolized a new dawn—a message of strength, sustainability, and self-reliance. More than just an artistic display, this initiative emphasized the importance of energy conservation and empowering underprivileged communities through solar energy. Speaking about the campaign, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar stated that its core objective is to provide solar-powered lighting solutions to economically weaker families, enabling them to reduce dependency on conventional electricity and contribute to environmental protection.

This Guinness World Record marked the ninth such achievement for Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, but the essence of his journey goes far beyond records. Over the past seven years, he has actively contributed to causes such as social service, environmental conservation, women’s hygiene awareness, and education. In March 2019, he achieved his first Guinness World Record by donating over 300,000 pieces of clothing to the underprivileged, setting off a chain of impactful initiatives that followed. With every step, his goal has remained the same—uplifting marginalized communities and fostering positive change in society.

Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar’s leadership extends beyond any single project; it is a movement dedicated to holistic societal transformation.
