Pesarattu Dosa:-
This is a popular dish of Andhra Pradesh.
Pesarattu is made of two words i.e. attu means dosa, and pesara pappu means green gram.
Ingredients
1 cup green gram or
moong dal, 1/2 cup raw rice, 1 inch ginger (chopped), 2 green chillies (chopped), salt to taste, cumin seeds - 1/2
tsp, oil or ghee for making dosa, water (as per need)
For Topping
2 big onions (finely chopped), few coriander leaves
(finely chopped)
How to make
Take green gram and rice and soak moong dal and rice for atleast 5
hrs or overnight. Drain them. Now grind it into smooth paste by adding water,
chilies, ginger, salt, cumin and water. Take a tawa/griddle to make dosa.
Spread batter into round shape and pour oil on the sides to cook dosa (thin and
crispy dosa). Once dosa is cooked sprinkle chopped onion and coriander leaves
on it. Serve it with alalm pachadi or coconut chutney.
