Maple taffy, a ridiculously simple, chewy, sweet treat is made during sap season between February and April in Canada. Taffy is made by boiling pure maple syrup at 234 degrees Fahrenheit and then pouring it over fresh, clean snow. Syrup is rolled onto a wooden stick when it begins to harden.
