Umaid Bhawan Palace was designed by British architect Henry Lancaster. The hotel has a museum, a marble squash court and a billiards room for recreation. Initially known as the Chittar Palace, due to the sandstone used from Chittar, its golden creation displays the Art Deco Style of the 1900s.
