Rishikesh, Uttarakhand:- This place offers one of the best rafting experiences in India. In Rishikesh, the river Ganga offers many other water sports apart from river rafting. There are four stretches with up to three grades of rapids. The best time for rafting is mid September to mid June.
Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh:- The magnificent Spiti valley is wonderful place for river rafting. The expedition on Spiti river starts from Rangrik to Sichling covering 77 kms. The rafters can view beautiful glaciers to pristine villages of Himachal Pradesh. The best time for rafting is July to August.
