1. Protect yourself from the sun
Avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. This is when the sun's rays are the strongest. Use sunscreen when you are out in the sun. Apply generous amounts of sunscreen 30 minutes before going outdoors and reapply every two hours.
