Boil, peel and dice the potatoes into small pieces. Boil, peel and grind the tomatoes to a fine puree.Finely chop green chillies and onions.
Dry roast coriander, cumin and sesame seeds. Allow it to cool and grind. Blend garlic, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, water and salt to a fine paste.
Heat oil, add the chopped onions and tomato puree and cook on low heat. Add the coriander garlic paste and saute for some time.
Add the potatoes and two heaped teaspoons of the earlier blended dry masala as the fat starts separating. Let it cook and serve hot.
