Audi 5000...
The Audi 5000 was first produced in 1968, and continued to be made until 1994. But between 1982 and 1987, Audi was forced to make several recalls. As it turns out, the Audi 5000 models at the time contained a faulty system which caused the car to rev up and roll forward unexpectedly while the car was temporarily stopped or inactive. The faulty system caused six deaths and nearly one thousand accidents.
