Chatpata Rings:-

Ingredients


For  Masala
1/2 tsp chaat masala, 1/4 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp powdered sugar, salt to taste

For Dough
1/2 cup makke ka ata (maize flour), 1/4 cup maida, 1tbsp oil, salt, 1/4 tsp oil (fro kneading), oil for deep-frying
 

How to make
Take maize flour, maida, oil and salt in a bowl and knead into soft dough adding warm water (approx. 4 tbsp). Put this dough aside for 5 minutes. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and roll out each portion in medium size circle. Now divide each circle into 2 equal portions to make semi-circles. Make thick strips of 1cm from semi circle. Now roll each strip into a ring and press to seal the edges.Take a pan. Heat the oil in it to fry the rings till they turn golden brown in colour. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle the prepared masala. Serve immediately.
