Heart It
If you have dark circles under eyes, you know just how frustrating they can be. Seriously-the rest of your complexion could look perfect, but if your under-eye area is dark, that could put a damper on your day. Dark circles tend to be worse in the morning, but you don't need to cross your fingers and hope they clear up on their own. A careful choice of concealer should hide the circles from view and blend them in with your natural skin tone or with a full face of makeup. This method also works on melasma, also known as pregnancy mask when it occurs in pregnant women. Makeup not only highlights your best features, but hides blemishes and marks. However, makeup can also hide dark circles and eye bags. Here are a few tips to hide dark circles.
Apply the concealer
Choose concealer with a yellow undertone to neutralize the purple color of the dark circles. Using a thin makeup brush and starting at the inner corner of the eye, where circles are darkest, gently dot the concealer along the under-eye area.
Apply a mousse or foundation
Set your concealer using a lightweight mousse or a compact powder. Take a brush to dust little powder under your eyes. Use your fingers to blend it well. If the area is looking too stark, use a tissue to wipe the area.
