Turns out that proper exercise may do wonders for your heart as well. Yes you heard us, in addition to keeping you fit and agile, mild exercise( If done enough and properly) may reverse damage to sedentary, ageing hearts. It may also play a preventive role in risk of heart failure for middle-aged and senior citizens' notes a study.
Indulging in proper exercise in middle age (before age 65), when the heart apparently retains some plasticity and ability to remodel itself can have the best effect on your heart health, says the study published in the journal Circulation. In an earlier study, researchers found that the exercise needs to be performed four-to-five times a week.
