Gajar Halwa (with milk):-
Ingredients
1 kg carrots, 1 and 1/2 litre milk, 8 green cardamoms (powder), 5-7 tbsp ghee, 1/2 kg sugar, 2 tbsp raisins, 1 tbsp shredded almonds, 2 tbsp chopped dates
How to make
Wash carrots. Peel them and grate them. Now put milk on flame. Heat milk with the cardamom powder and cook carrot mixture in it. Cook until whole liquid evaporates. Now heat ghee in a heavy pan and add the carrot mixture. Cook over a gentle flame for 10-15 minutes. Add sugar and mix it well. Continue cooking until halwa turns deep reddish color. Stir in raisins, almonds and chopped dates. Serve hot yummy Gajar ka halwa.
