The 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class unveiled. Based on the all-new S-Class, the exterior has been reworked to give a distinct Maybach identity complete with a chrome fin on the bonnet with the Maybach logo, a generous application of chrome to the redesigned grille and front and rear bumpers, new set of alloys and optional two-tone paint schemes that can take up to a week to execute. At 3,396mm long, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has a 180mm longer wheelbase compared to the long-wheelbase version of the regular S-Class sedan. All this extra wheelbase adds to the rear compartment space only.
Buyers will get to choose from two types of seats for the rear - Executive seats and First-Class Rear. The rear seats in both cases offer a wide array of adjustments, all-electric of course, including the chauffeur package which pushed the front passenger seat forward at the touch of a button to liberate maximum space for the rear seat occupant. The legrest, which now extends further than before, also features a calf massage function now. These seats boast a maximum recline angle of 43.5 degrees. There are various massage functions for those seated in the back as well as neck/shoulder heating functions. In case of the First-Class Rear setup, the centre console runs continuously from the front all the way to the rear splitting the rear seats.
