Nahan
Nahan is a magnificent town surrounded by lush green forests and snow cappedmountain ranges. It is nestled on the Shivalik Hills in Himachal Pradesh. Nahan has exotic tourist destinations like Suketi Fossil Park, Simbalwara Wildlife Sanctuary, and Renuka Wildlife Park. Nahan has many forts, temples, and lakes. Renuka Lake is the largest lake of Himachal Pradesh with a vast boundary of 3214 m. Situated at the centre of Nahan town is Rani Tal, which has a large temple and a water pond. Rani Tal has a royal heritage which is also known as "Queen's lake", and it was a retreat for the royal family that used to rule Nahan. Recently, this destination has been converted into a public picnic spot. Ducks and cranes in the Rani Tal Tank and Rani Tal Garden further add to its charm.
