A team of 10 refugees will be competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics. This will happen for the first time in history. The team will include athletes from the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, two Syrian swimmers, two judokas from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a marathoner from Ethiopia as Refugee Olympic Team (ROT).
